Absurd Thoughts

Pretty late in the night, cold breeze blowing outside and I am feeling blissed with a cigarette in my one hand and coffee in other. I have started feeling good without any apparent reasons. Life has been monotonous, with long streched wearing out working hours but honestly, I am enjoying it, thinking, dreaming, sanitizing my thoughts, and blah blah.

I have not been writing since long back but haven't stopped being philosophical and paining my friends. During one such discussion in our booze party, we guys were discussing about our ambitions and I was surprised to see the heights of people's ambitions and it was pleasant. Noone should stop others from dreaming as one'll achieve things only when he dreams. However, there is something which is said by myself perhaps subconciously (might be this thing I have copied from some book or some movie or some articile, i really don't recall any connection !) and which I appreciated so much afterwards that I was patting myself like anything. In a nutshell, it's like, it's not the fulfillment of ambitions which matter more but the kind of journey you have towards that fulfillment.

And guys, it's very true. People are in a habit of making the things complex. Keep things simple and your life too. We are born on Earth with an average age. Now, what one's highest motive should be ? Simply to be leading that average years of age with great fulfillments, something which makes you say at the end of each day, each week, each month that yeah, I have lived the life. Do the experiments, take the blunts, ride the rugged bikes, win over the tough mountains, change anything and everything which you start getting bored with and never worry or get depress for damn anything. Keep yourself simple and do whatever your heart says and minds follows. Move madly towards your goal but at the same time, don't forget the journey. Make friends in between that journey, which will perhaps be lifelong, appreciate poor jokes which makes you smile at their absurdity, don't be afraid to commit mistakes and at the same time, don't forget the lessons.

Hey doesn't it sound that some school teacher is repeating words to you. Yes, it's so. When I was in School, perhaps I didn't appreciate these things so much which I am understanding now as I am experiencing them now and here's another point to make. Don't ever stop anybody from jumping into the well, just tell him well in advance the way to get out if you have been there. If everyone will learn from other's mistakes, then he'll not be commiting any mistakes and life'll be too dull a place without kinky mistakes.

Enoough of lessons. It's sleeping time !

Women of absense!

Some days back while surfing.. i got to see a beauty contest ('catogerically' for married women) and my thoughts were filled with sarcasm..."how dumb and how stupid" i spat! how did these women participate in this content''less'' show...was my second thought... mothers of 'x' number of kids -but how sexy and appealing they are...was the only thing they wanted to show.Okay you may want to say here that..excuse me! they also show the brain part of these women. But do you think by asking questions like- tell me what is an ideal relationship like? tell me how would you takle an extramarital? Is extramarital good or bad ? Do you talk openly about sex to your kids? -you can prove somebody superior..or beautiful...or brainy?? - i may be appearing as an orthodox woman coming from some 16th century .. by putting up such thoughts..but so be it. Come to think of it, why would somebody participate in such event/contest? Is it the desire to prove oneself...no please dont get me wrong!...yes proving yourself is absoultely right...and also a RIGHT* but where? To prove that you are physically beautiful even after an age? To fake that you have "the perfect relationship with your spouse" or to flaunt on how urbane you are in bringing up your kids? Were these women deprived of appreciation of their beauty in the past? Or their thoughts cant progress beyond ........anyways i just wanted to say here is how our definitions, platforms and values are changing. If the organisers were to design the contest defining the role of new age women - i think they wouldnt have got any audience..probably or even no participants. They serve what is in demand and how the audience would like to see this contest as? But is this our so called 'new age women'? Is there something beyond...to progress and evolve and make this place a little different( i will not use the typical statement- 'make this place a better world'- i will talk about this in my next post) In ancient scripts it is said that when women progress the world would progress, which is so true. Because the ' Sanskara' as 'Sanskriti' comes from a women to the child-in a broader sense to human beings. But here everything is so unreal, so untrue, so fake, so meaningless...that the scope and hope for progression looks so meak...but i see a hope in the 'x'million women who didnt participate in this 'woman of absense' contest!

Yesomite for self explorers

Yesomite is a real delight for people who have 24*7 schedule and are looking for a serious break. You can be in the forest all alone walking miles and miles completely with yourself. Its amazing to feel the age of the trees when you touch them. There are long/short trails defined in the forest. You can choose based on your apetite to walk. The pleasent air is just not enough to breathe.... and the huge giant radiating glacier rocks are out of world! Night strolls are scary as its complete dark with only natural light to guide you.. but equally exiciting if you are a sport. They also offer something like 'star gazing' in Waowa and Yesomite valley where astronomy talks and walk events are covered. Self guided tour is best. You get all maps right at the entrance. All roads , trails, hikes are scenic but dont miss the drive along the Tioga Road, a 39-mile (62 km) drive from Crane Flat to Tioga Pass. If you really want to make the best of the trip then stick to trails, hikes and cycling.
